This should answer most of your questions and get you ready to host our
bounce house. If you
have never done this before, it’s really very easy. There are only a couple of things you need to
know and prepare for before we arrive.
Call Us Early. We are booking from 4 to 6 weeks in advance. In order to guarantee you the exact style and preferences that you want for your event, you need to move on your decision as soon as possible. The preferred method for making a reservation is to review our inventory of
bounce houses, make a selection, and submit a
Reservation
Form or call us at 916 761-8226 from Sacramento or Lodi at 209 663-7557. We return calls in the order they are received, as soon as possible. We will confirm your reservation, guarantee your selection, and make any other recommendations to make your party a smashing success!
Provide a Piece of Land. We need a flat level parcel of land to set the unit on. Review the specifications for size of area needed on the bouncer page of your choice. Most bouncers we
have will need 17 feet by 17 feet of clearance and 20 feet vertical clearance. The 3 in 1: Jump,
Climb, and Slide needs 35 feet by 15 feet. We prefer to set up on grass, but we will set up on concrete or other surface as your needs require. We will need to know this in advance to properly prepare and setup in time for your event.
Provide Adequate Continuous Power. We need to have you locate a circuit that is not being used
by any other electrical appliance. Our blowers pull from 7 to 10 amps. You should locate circuits that have high amp ratings like 15 or 20 amps as indicated on the circuit breaker. The blowers operate continuously and run on about 6.9 amps, however initial start-up may require up to 15 amps. We want all kids to have un-interrupted fun throughout the party. The outlet for this circuit should be within 100 feet to the rear of the set-up area. If you do not have a circuit that will provide enough electricity, we can rent you a generator for an additional fee.
Plan to Provide Responsible Supervision. We ask that you plan in advance to have a volunteer
(or rotating volunteers) available to supervise the children. Our insurance requires that the leasing party of the inflatable equipment provide someone responsible to enforce the rules and guidelines. Historically, most accidents reported from
bounce house play have been attributable to the two
basic guidelines: (1) Do not exceed maximum capacity by age group, and, (2) Do not combine unmatched players of differing age groups. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience with our equipment.
Define the Time of Your Event. We charge by the event and need to know when it begins and
ends. Depending on the rental agreement, we typically plan for one hour set-up to make sure you are happy with our services before we leave. We require access to the premises early to complete our work. We also need to agree upon an ending time. When we show up at the conclusion of the party, we are not usually welcomed by the kids in the same manner as when we arrived - they usually want more time in the unit. We will solicit your support in having the children exit the
bounce house at the agreed upon pick up time.
Make all Additional Necessary Arrangements. If you are holding your event in a park, community center or other facility, you will need to make all the necessary arrangements with the facility
authority before we arrive.
Rain Policy. At Rebecca's Jolly Jumps our goal is to provide you with a SAFE and fun experience using our bounce houses. However, bounce houses are not made to be used in rain or adverse weather conditions. Rain causes the bounce houses to become slippery. Because of static electricity properties of the material, lightening has been known to be attracted to the vinyl of the bounce house. High winds can cause a
bounce house to flip over or take flight. We will do all we can to help you have a fun-filled, safe event. Keep in mind that as a matter of public safety and insurance policy, the bounce house industry normally closes down for rainy weather.
There are many great alternatives if there is rain forecasted on the day of your event. We highly recommend renting a community center or school gym. Many communities have buildings or
rooms for rent for a small fee. Also, if you have a large room, we can set up a bounce house in
your home. You might consider renting a smaller bounce house which could be used indoors or outdoors.
CANCELLATION: You are welcome to cancel for any reason, including adverse weather conditions, up until 7 a.m. the morning of your event. There is no fee for cancellation if done by this time. If you cancel after 7 a.m., you will be responsible for a minimum $50 cancellation fee to cover driver delivery charges. If our driver arrives at your door with the
Bounce House and you decide to cancel at that time, you will be responsible for the $50 cancellation fee.
Credit Card order for rentals
or reservations will will receive a refund minus the processing fee
incurred by Rebecca's Jolly Jumps from the Credit Card company. |
